More Than was the old name for We Are — same company, renamed; it no longer appears anywhere. Shift has a placeholder manager (rename it from Users to a real person). Classico Group is archived and hidden from the system, so its 17 accounts are disabled and not listed.

The four roles

CEO

Sees every company. Approves contracts, gives each one its official number, and classifies internal ones as funded or debt. Can reset any user's password, group-wide. Cannot delete data or spend money directly — money only moves once the accountant disburses it.

Company Manager

Full authority inside their own company: writes project plans (tasked only to members they've already staffed on that project), starts and pauses projects, approves their team's requests before they reach the CEO.

Accountant

The only role that moves money. Confirms the client's first payment before a project may start, settles the rest of the installments, issues approved disbursements, and closes the accounting month. Every posting is double-entry and auto-journaled.

Employee

Any staff title — designer, sales, photographer, HR — is an Employee plus a label. Works assigned tasks, starts and completes them, and raises requests up the chain.

How work flows now

1
Contracts move in one direction and lock.

A draft is editable by its author. Once submitted it locks and routes for approval; the CEO's approval gives it its official number.

draft → submit → (provider accepts) → CEO approves & numbers it → active
2
Work only starts once the client's first payment is in.

Approval creates the project right away — so the manager can plan and staff it — but "Commence" stays locked until the accountant confirms that first payment in Contract Income. No clock starts on a promise.

3
The manager plans before commencing.

Mission, owner, start and end date per task, using only the members already staffed on the project — then, once the payment lands, "Commence" starts the project timer. The plan locks the moment it starts; from then on, day-to-day flexibility lives in Tasks, not the plan.

4
Employees run their own tasks.

Each person clicks Start on their task; a countdown runs. Marking it done sends it to the manager to confirm — if it needs work, it's returned to you with notes, not rejected, so you get another pass.

5
Money changes only through the accountant.

A request is approved up the chain, but the value moves solely when the accountant confirms the disbursement.

employee → manager → CEO → accountant disburses
6
Every major event notifies you.

Approvals, assignments, disbursements and late tasks appear in the bell and, once enabled from Profile, as browser notifications.

Projects are never deleted — a manager or the CEO can pause a project (for example when a client is late paying) and resume it later. Roles are set once, when the account is created, and cannot be changed afterwards.
